PIP online application form and submitting more evidence

Hi there,

Just a quick question about the PIP online application form.

I applied by phone then received the PIP2 online form via an email link. I have evidence to upload but one of my therapists is taking a long time to get evidence to me. If I complete the form myself by the deadline will I still be able to upload further evidence by logging in to the PIP application account AFTER the DEADLINE or after I've submitted?

If not, would I need to submit further evidence by post?

I can't find info on this anywhere else. Thanks

Hi belarion

I have never used the online system, but I think I have heard other people say that once you have submitted it, you can't add additional information. However, I would ring the PIP helpline and ask. I suspect you will be told to post it, (but I could be wrong)

Thanks everyone. I completed the online application a few weeks ago, and I thought I'd update this as I've only recieved incorrect advice on this issue elsewhere. The CAB, and even the DWP PIP helpline even advised wrongly.

Answer is: Yes, you can log in via the GOV.UK One Login, and upload further evidence AFTER you have submitted the PIP online application.

Here is the wording of the webpage you can use to submit further evidence. I did this successfully:

"Upload evidence to support your PIP application

You have submitted your PIP application.

You can upload more supporting evidence if you want to.

We will add it to your application and other evidence you may have already submitted.

Providing evidence may mean:
• we can make a quicker decision on your application
• we can make an accurate decision and pay you the right amount
• you may not need to attend an assessment with a health professional"
