Formal Complaint to capita after receiving PA4 report was created by Sahara76
I was so shocked and upset that my son report was all fabricated with untrue statements. on all activities of the report. I called capita and put in a complaint. I was advised someone would contact me from customer relation regarding the report as no one called I called again first thing explained exactly how I feel I was told someone will definitely call back. I didn’t take any more chances and decided to put it all in writing point out everything that is not factual and all fabricated had put what I had said as I’m appointee for my son prepared all notes for his assessment with the help of this site thank you so much to Steve and all from Benefit forum worked so hard help with all information that required for successful claim I been member for long now it has really helped me can’t thank you guys enough. Just glad my son not had a decision yet I sent written complaint and called pip helpline as advised by capita to let case handlers know hope they take action against the assessor as she went lengths to fabricate entire report even though a lot medical evidence has been given from professional she disregarded them never looked at these things made up and shocking! Life is hard as it is my son genuinely complex need and he got diagnosis and evidence yet she made report based none factual statement which upset me so much I my self have life threatening illness just recovering from treatment. I didn’t need this capital are very much aware hope the don’t use that report for decision as Dwp pip helpline took my call made notes they want me to send them letter I sent to capita i am going to send them letter first thing. 😔🙏

Hi Sahara76
I'm so sorry to hear what you are going through. Supporting a son with complex needs while you're battling a life-threatening condition, at the same time as having to challenge a dishonest assessment and assessor, is not easy. I hope that your complaint leads to a positive outcome. Be aware that if they uphold your complaint, they may insist on doing another assessment. If they try that, I would insist that your son is not in a position to repeat the process, and therefore, as his appointee, you will do any assessment if necessary. Not trying to scare you, but that sometimes is the outcome, and I want you to be forewarned. Also, if there was a second assessment, make sure that you insist on it being recorded.
