Hello

I have heard that the DWP is seeking the power to extend some PIP awards coming up for review.

Can I ask whether this only relates to fixed term awards? What might happen to those with ongoing awards who have passed the pension age?

Is it outlandish to suppose they might roll these over for another ongoing period (ie 10 years) with no fixed end date?

Hi Augustus

People who have passed pension age are currently being given ongoing ten-year awards. Even if there is no fixed end date, unless they say otherwise, they are likely to send a review form at the ten-year mark.
