PIP AR2 light touch review examples was created by Natalie
Hello all,
I am due my review of 10 year ongoing award at the end of the year and am already getting anticipatory anxiety! I am getting worried about how much to put or not to put in.
My condition/s have stayed mostly the same (where it has worsened is mostly due to the effects of shielding during covid and impact getting older has on my body coping with my conditions but I suppose as I had enhanced levels for everything, none of that makes a difference to the assessment I would think?). But I am concerned that if I say yes, it will trigger a reassessment and if I say no, will they wonder why an ongoing lifelong condition has not worsened ( regular flare ups but that is par for the course) over a 10 year period (which I consider God's grace, given that it's trajectory is that they will certainly not get better).
Also is it possible to say no and write a little bit in the box?
I have done a search on this site and some people have said they have written a little something but I am not sure if that is after ticking yes or ticking no and what kind of information has been provided.
Also I would love to see some examples of actual forms completed or similar dummy write ups but I don't know if such things are available.
Thanks in advance

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Natalie
I've only heard of one person so far being assessed. The whole point of the AR2 form is that you shouldn't need to be assessed. They are looking for confirmation that your condition has not improved.
You're right - that the few members who have reported on using the forms have had different approaches. Some feel it is better not to write anything at all and a couple feel they have been disadvantaged by not saying anything. Some have ticked no change, but still written a little to remind the DWP what their difficulties still are, and others have ticked no change and not added anything. If you tick yes, things have got worse, I think you would be advised to explain what has got worse.
I'm afraid there aren't any examples of the completed form.
