Hi,

Seeing as PM is not available and that I would really appreciate talking on a one to one basis with a fellow ME sufferer, I am supplying you with my email details. I realise it may be risky, but I am hoping that there aren't any iffy people on here who would take advantage of this!

The issue is that the forums are open to vistors as well as members, as a consequemce, any search engine on the internet is able to scan the forum pages for content. As an example, I just did a Google search which retrieved posts that I have been making over the last few days.

The members all operate under pseudonyms which protects them from identification. The Moderators do their best to control the content that is published to ensure that their anonimity is protected.

Whilst the threat to an individual member is undoubtedly small, it is nonetheless real.

If people really want to e mail each other then might it be an idea to set up email address just for use to talk to people on here then if it gets tons of spam it matters not ?

its easy to set up a google yahoo or microsoft email address and you could use user name with BANDW after it

just for swapping info its easy to tell who you would want to talk with they will have been posting on here for sometime and have a posting record and from what they have said you should be able to spot the pervs/nutters
