Can anybody help with this?
Been on IB since 2004, my 18 month review is due on Christmas
eve. From word of mouth and this forum, many reviews are well
overdue in anticipation of April changeover. Can anybody tell
me if this is now the norm. I have no intention of chasing DWP
for clarification

Hi,

Depending on the area where you live, there maybe either no delay or upto (and even over) a years delay.

The backlog is caused by a number of factors, number of claimants coupled with less DWP staff, together with the introduction of ESA and more appeals all rolled into one!.

Whether the DWP/ATOS are holding back with IB claimants until ESA migration is introduced nationally remains to be seen.

I think most people who are past their IB review period with no contact are just sitting tight providing their payments continue.
