IB & DLA stopped after ATOS Medical

IB and DLA stopped after ATOS Medical from 16th Nov.

His Kriss, sorry to hear the bad news. But just so that I can understand. What was the ATOS medical for ? ( IB, DLA or ESA ? ) and why did both your awards stop ?.

Are the DWP now stopping DLA awards if you fail an IB50 PCA or ESA ?

Gordon, are you talking about migration from IB50 to ESA ? I thought that was April 2011.

Doris I think you'll find that DLA payments aren't stopped as such under these circumstances but payment of them is triggered by payment of the main benefit, in this case IB. They come bundled together. Now IB has stopped nothing is triggering payment of DLA. If Kriss talks to the DLA people then (as I understand it) they should get it set up so her DLA payments will start arriving again. They'll probably do that anyway but best to make sure

quick update :

Got 'Fit Note' signed properly
Got new Doctor,appointment on Friday & hopefully will have a better understanding of CFS & Mental Health.
Job Centre checked that I had all the correct info needed & form filled in correctly for ESA.

Will probably have to wait 2 weeks + for decission on ESA

Mental Health already suffering
