  			 				I am in recipt of HRM and Middle Rate Care.
I recieve the care compont along with the severe disability premium paid by income Support.
i don't actually have a formal carer for my daily needs but do pay a friend and a family member for the help they give me.
I have just read that from April 2011 people who are disabled and have a non resident carer are to be eligible for payment for an extra bedroom. However, would this apply only if you need care or help throughout the night as opposed to the day and would it involve paying someone as a carer on a more formal basis? i.e. transferring the care payments over to them?

  			 				I see the timetable of it Jim but what im trying to get at is whether the entitlement applies only to those who have care needs during the night. ( I dont according to my award) Im assuming if theyre willing to pay for a bedroom it applies to care thoughout the night.
