I believe that ATOS provide medical services in Northern Ireland as well, but I am not aware of significant delays in the assessment process in this region, that is not to say that there are not, just that we are not aware of them.

I am afraid there is no way to know at this stage whether an assessment in August of this year will be delayed or not, the stoppage is to allow ATOS and the DWP to catch up on the backlog of assessments already waiting, it is perfectly possible that six months will be sufficient for them to do this, however, there are other serious problems in the system, that may further delay these processes, the bottom line is that we just don't know at the moment.
