Got the Date for PIP Medical and am Terrified

I had my assessment. My husband asked if I could see a woman and I did so that was a bit of a relief.

The centre itself was a nightmare, the entrance is either on the main road with barriers so there was no where to park and a long walk to the entrance or on another road where there were 3 levels of steps.

The office was very tiny and by the time I got in there I was having a panic attack. I really struggled with it and my husband answered a lot of the questions, so I don't know if that will go against me or not.

I saw an occupational therapist who was very nice, she did say that I should have asked for a home visit and she would be making a note on my file that I would need a home visit in the future.

The assessment went ok I think, you can never be sure with these things though I know. I was asked the world question and deducting 7p and some other questions.

Thank you so much for your help in getting through this. She said it would be 4 - 6 weeks before I hear anything.

Just one last question, how long do I have to wait before I can ask for a copy of the P4?

Well done :)

I would give it a couple of days and then you can request the report from the DWP, they may not send it out until a Decision is made which should be 2-4 weeks.

I've been second guessing myself since the assessment :( silly I know, it's over now so I will just have to wait and see.

Can you tell me what number do I call for a copy of the assessment please.

My husband phoned as asked for a copy of the assessment this afternoon.

The lady said it could take 2 - 3 weeks for it to come through, is this correct?

They are usually a lot quicker, I would expect a week.
