No worries Judy. glad to be of some help. I was just hoping some peeps did managed to tune in to Andrew Marrs show because I didn't realise that just after posting my message I forgot to say which channel it was on!

I was really surprised to see IDS on TV quite so soon after the explosion as I had visions of him hiding in a corner somewhere The trouble is, we may never really know the real reason why IDS resigned. Although he is saying it is because of the PIP cuts.

Over these 5 years he has contributed to,or if not all caused suffering and misery to so many vulnerable people to the point where some sadly took their own lives due to his god awful cuts and sanctions and so yes, he, 'Giddy' and 'Call me Dave' should all go and hide in a corner and seriously think about what they have done.

However, to go on TV now IDS somehow has to save face as he must know he is the most hated man in the country right now. I,personally would not like to be in his shoes as being labelled,quite rightly,a murderer is one hell of a responsibility to take on your shoulders.He may not have pulled the trigger,but he did indeed provide the ammunition.

I am not really political to be honest, and I generally see things from a human point of view and I know this forum is not the place to discuss our views, but I do hope this major event will topple the Tories over as enough is enough now.

IDS is a complete hypocrite and has presided over cuts in disability benefits that have resulted in people taking their own lives. Thousands of mobility vehicles have been taken away from people and he has the audacity to claim that he objects to the latest round of cuts that will step up this process. He's one of the bullies complaining that the bullying has gone too far. No doubt promoting his Brexit position has influenced this decision.

IDS opportunism is a moment for celebration because the divisions among the Tories are now fully exposed and Osborne's latest round of disability cuts are in tatters. We need to make the most of this by supporting junior doctors, teachers and others under Tory attack. United we stand, divided they fall. Benefit cuts are part of a wider Tory plan to force all of us to bail them out of their recession.

Corbyn and Labour need to make the most of Osborne's 2016 omni-shambles rather than parroting Tory language about fiscal responsibility. If ever there was a moment to expose Tory lies about the disabled this is it!

On a personal note I feel more confident now if I need to challenge my PIP assessment. I hope all of you here have the same feeling. It'll be interesting to see if this debacle has an affect on assessments. I hope it causes a huge amount of confusion for the DWP in our favour.
