hi Gordon when the appeals team ask for permission to view my medical records can i request that only records regarding my illness be submitted as there is a lot of personal and private data in it that has nothing to do with my illness

In principle you should be able to do this but I would contact the Clerk of the Court at the venue for your hearing to make sure it not going to problem.
What I am not sure about is how this would operate in practice, I don't know how these records are stored but I would be surprised if there was any easy way to distinguish between what you deem to be private information and what is not and how will the person retrieving the records know what you mean?

Hi just received word that my appeal bundle is on its way to me ,i have looked at the members guides for appealing dla and it keeps giving examples of how to refer to the medical examiners report and dispute it .what do you do when you never had a medical and the decision was based on the form i filled in ,how do i dispute something that never happened

Please don't post in capitals it causes problems for members who use text to speech software.
Even though no face to face took place I would still have expected an assessment to have been done based on your forms and evidence, this will be included in the DWP that you are waiting for.
