so Gordon do you think this will be different to the medicals that dwp send you for ,more interested in the details the appeals panel want or an all over assesment

No it should be the same as the one that the DWP would do.

sorry to say that doesn`t make me feel very confident as the medical i had by atos for my esa was a total farce

Historically most DLA assessments were/are done by doctors, that doesn't guarantee it will be fair but it makes it more likely, also you have the advantage that those making the Decision have already had sight of all your evidence so an assessment report that bears no resemblance to what you have submitted will raise some questions.

the appeals team didnt say if i will be required to attend the panel again after this medical ,any idea if they will reach their decision on the info the doctor submits or will i have to go in front of them again

If you asked for an Oral hearing then a hearing will be arranged once the report is produced, in either case, you will receive a copy of the report and will have an opportunity to comment on the content before a hearing takes place.
