Thanks Gordon & Poppy - I have sent off the MR today(all 5 pages of it + Dr's letter, and written statement by me) via special delivery

My mums informed that her MR has been rejected, will read the letter tonight and update further.. gutted

Great news!
My mums appeal was allowed, and was awarded 36 points and placed back into the support group!
Such a shame that my mum and myself had to go through such a stressful 6 months and clearly highlights the inconsistencies with the DWP assessment process - from 0 to 36 points

A message to everyone else going through similar struggles - keep fighting!

That's terrific news, congratulations.
It usually takes the DWP 5-8 weeks to process a Tribunal result, it would be worth your while giving them a call next week to confirm that they have received the Decision Notice.
