Hi guys, I’ve my esa assessment on Wednesday. I’m dreading.it. I also get PIP, I’m due to be called for another assessment next year for this. should I tell them I’m in receipt of it, or will they already know? I read somewhere that they may just do the one assessment instead of two separate ones, is this correct.
An ESA assessment cannot substitute for a PIP and vice versa, so expect two interviews.
It's unlikely that those assessing your ESA will be aware of your PIP award, you should certainly tell them but should also explain why it is relevant to your limitations in completing the ESA activities.
