I only have pip and contribution based esa so no means tested.
The money would be spent totally on repairs to our house and refitting bathroom to make it accessible.
Just worried as esa is affected by pension amount, they are going to want a large amount to cover overpaid esa

As David stated in a previous post, you may need to seek specialist advice from your local Welfare Rights Organisation: advicelocal.uk where they can take all your circumstances into consideration when giving you advice.

In regards to underpayment, quite often this is used to offset any overpayments which is why you need to seek specialist advice.
