Hi mousemat105

You can only do what I said before, which is write to the DWP and say you are not well enough to take part in the assessment. You can ignore their phonecall but that is when you risk having your benefit stopped.

As an update I contacted the PIP assessment people and they said to contact DWP as they were the ones that told me I wouldn't have another assessment and then had to have another assessment. When I phoned them they said they could tell I was very distressed but it had been arranged now and if I didn't go through with the assessment my pip would stop.

MY mental and physical health was significantly impacted and made worse after a 2 and a half hour assessment phone call.

I got the outcome a week ago an have stayed on the standard rates, but they have taken away points in one section that was awarded at tribunal and my circumstances on this haven't changed. So I'm unsure why they have removed this (they added points in another section) but I think I should definitely still have these points, and more points elsewhere. The DWP comments are contradictory to medical evidence and information I gave in my assessment.

At least I keep the standard rate for 3 years before another review, but I strongly believe I should be on the higher rate. Which I would be if they hadn't removed the 2 points from one of the daily living activities, despite the tribunal awarding here.
