There is a bug in the forum software.
You need to log out of the site and then sign in again but make sure that you tick the "remember me" box, this should allow access to the guides, a link will have the same problem if you don't.

The only other things I can suggest is that you clear your browser's cache, an internet search should give you instructions for doing this.

Nothing works. Sometimes I get in but more often that not I don't, although I'm able to post. Luckily I managed to get in this morning & was able to send myself a link to my notes & email, so now I can just look there. Thanks Gordon.
