I managed to send off the letter on Friday. Just wandering if it gets ignored which I'm expecting & we go for a MR, what other benefits would he lose? At the moment he gets ESA, PIP Enhanced, & Mobility Standard, SD, & Carers.

If he loses the Daily Living component then the ESA SD Premium and the entitlement for someone to claim CA would stop, there could be a knock-on effect to ESA itself but this is very unlikely now but could have an effect at the next assessment.

Thanks Gordon.
He has an underlying entitlement to CA for me, would that be effected do you mean?
What could be the knock on effect for ESA? He's not been assessed for ESA since 2012, so I'm expecting it soon.
Sorry for questions, I do look, yet still struggle to understand the benefit system no matter how hard I try.

Your CA is dependent on his PIP Daily Living award so if he loses that then your CA will stop, there should be an 8 week run-on, any benefits that are dependent on the CA, such as Income Support will also stop,

I rang last week to see if they'd had received the support letter that I sent for partner, they hadn't. So today I rang again, & they said that they hadn't. Upon further questioning they found it, they'd got it down as an assessment report! I'd put our details on so God knows how that happened. They said that it should be sorted out by mid Feb.
