Just to warn you that some areas (mine included) are taking 4 months+ to do the reconsideration, so don't hold your breath waiting!

Oh no,i may crack up before then,in the meantime i have a complaint about an HCP to the NMC to keep me going,i won't hold my breath there either :(

Unlike the GMC, the NMC believe that their role is to protect the public from nurses (and midwives), so you might be pleasantly surprised.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi J,

I am glad that the other Mods have helped to clarify your situation. :)

Just to remind you once more.

Although you have fulfilled the deadline for appealing, and have therefore taken up your right to appeal.

If you wish to provide the DWP DM with any fresh evidence to take into account at the reconsideration stage, of how you are entitled to ESA in either group, you should forward this information to the DM, ASAP.

Sometimes, it is enough to simply reiterate evidence already provided, and point out how you feel that certain evidence and factors have not been taken into account in the original adverse decision.

In fact, members have had successful reconsiderations just by doing that.

Good Luck. :)

The benefit centre that sent me my "zero points decision" letter and where i sent my appeal/original sick note because of appeal/and where my ESA85 etc came from is NOT the same Benefit centre where my letter of appeal has come from, the one explaining the appeal process etc. This letter has a different Ref.No apart from the national ins No.that it always begins with. The letter has "CAP 23" at the bottom. So where do i send my sick notes?letters to the decision maker?Letters of appeal?Letters to the decision maker who decided in my original zero points letter etc etc?Id this normal practice to change benefit centre after appealing?
