Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi smc
When you apply for UC you are asked if you were in receipt of ESA, when you tick yes you are placed in the LCWRA group in your first assessment period, you will then receive a call at that stage you will be asked if you were in the support group or WRAG and then you will be assigned the relevant group (LCWRA or LCW)

I am now into my third assessment period and have not had any calls or letters, only two monthly statements and two payments.

Hi smc
I am not sure what is happening with your claim, but something is not right.
I would advise you to seek help from your local Welfare Rights Organisation: advicelocal.uk

I have put in a complaint now, not much option given they are not responding to journal messages.

Hi smc
I'm sorry to hear that you are having to put in a complaint. It's not fair that they are just ignoring your messages especially when you have been told they have been read!

Yes it is infuriating to know they have been read and they have just not bothered to reply, just not good enough.
