Thanks Mrs H,
Like so many, my mind goes blank under stress and with anxiety.
May I suggest to others, perhaps that, because of my experience with the ROYAL MAIL’S, SPECIAL DELIVERY, GUARANTEED BY 1PM NEXT DAY and because of their explanation to me. It might, therefore, benefit others if they track their Special Delivery bang on 1pm the next day, because they too, may be able to get refunds, in the same circumstance, namely DELIVERY NOTE CONFIRMED ON TRACKING BY 1pm!
Gonna get copies of form and evidence off to DWP DM in next couple of days. Question, if I may. Can the DWP DM upon receipt of copies, make a decision independently of Maximus, on what I send and possibly bypassing any need for f2f?
Heartfelt thanks to all

No they can't, they are not medically qualified, that is why they have the Assessment Providers (AP) (Medical Services) to carry out the assessment and make recommendations !
It is The AP who decides whether a F2F is necessaries or not, not The DWP DM !!

Thanks
What a silly naïve numpty I am.........................sending to DM just ensures paperwork arrives there?????????Being only advantage??
I can here some members shouting at their screens that, probably at times there'd be no difference between DMs & APs on account of decisions made!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kind regards and thanks for bearing with me when my little brains on overload and in panic and angst.

However we are still awaiting the result of the said 'Assessment' before we make a real judgement or not.
2 weeks have past and she did say we would hear within two weeks. !!
So mean time ones mind is all over the place, one minute feeling ok and thinking the result will be fine, the next minute thinking cos she was here for well over an hour, things will not go well.
Then you think 'did I answer that question fully enough, did I say yes when I meant no and vice versa', ones mind plays tricks on one especially at 3am in the morning!!!
Good luck

?

I'm guessing that autocorrect strikes again.
Yes, I always think that this is like waiting for exam results - one moment confident and the next convinced that all relevant facts were missed!
