I hope u can get up to date evidence Amanda. Unfortunately I couldn't get any in time and sent old letters only to find out they won't consider it, so that's me stuffed. Carry on with the 'manning up!' Stay strong and remember that's exactly wot gets up their nose!

Thank you, Pete. I'll definitely try to get up to date evidence. The trouble is with a couple of my 'ailments', they are things that will never change and I've just been put out to pasture with plenty of painkillers as it were lol. Oh well, the joys of being disabled eh? A x

Yes, many of us have been 'parked' by the NHS as there is nothing more they can offer
Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Mrs HB,
What can I do if this is the case? Is it worth trying to get a 'general' letter from my GP stating that I have problems that nothing can be done about, or just make it clear on the form that I have no new evidence, and list the problems I'll never get rid of? I'm actually finding the ESA forms much harder than the PIP forms, and I thought they were hard enough!
Thank you
A

Hi Amanda,
If you can get something saying that your condition is long-term and has not improved since xxx (with xxx possibly being the date of the most recent report you have) then that would be marvelous.
Unfortunately, many GPs are refusing to have anything to do with this process. I can understand their stance but they seem to be overlooking the fact that it is their patients who will suffer as a result rather than DWP!
