Confused and anxious by another ESA50 form

Hi, just to let you know that I have finally sent in the ESA50 (newest one) completed online.

I had help from my friend and it took the best part of two days to finish. I have to say the online version is very good and i would recommend it, if at all possible, as it allows you to put in as much information as you want. I would not have been able to write it all into the boxes or have extra sheets of paper.

The only problem is that I was late but I wrote to inform them of the reason for late return, before the deadline, and requested a specified period of time. I then completed the ESA50 form and sent it back within the requested time frame.

All correspdence were posted with next day delivery service. It costs a lot more but it felt 'safer'.

One thing I was not sure about is how to answer the Cancer Treatment question on Page 4.

8 years ago I had cancer of an organ which was partially removed and, within a week of this, it was discovered I also have cancer of the stomach which was treated with chemo tabs. Completely different types of cancer.
Both treatments have been successful and a few months ago, the checkups were extended to yearly (blood tests and/or gastroscopy).

My question: Should I have said yes or no to the question?
Should I have asked my GP to complete page 20 (Cancer Qs) of the new ESA50 form?

I know it is too late now but just want to be 'ready' if I am asked to get the GP to complete page 20.

I am afraid I do not understand this bit you have written 'you cannot be found Fit for Work with having the opportunity to attend a face to face assessment'.

I did write something in the blank page explaining that though the Cancer treatments were successful, the side effects of the treatments (the surgery permanently damaged some nerves causing a great deal of nerve pain and comes without warning) and the chemo resulted in profused sweating, not just perspiration, causing terrible distress and embarrassment.

It should have read "you cannot be found Fit for Work without having the opportunity to attend a face to face assessment'.
