Thank you Gordon. My friend is going to call now for me.
I am also going to see my GP tomorrow morning and what answer I get from ATOS now will determine what I have to do.

What about my last query? regarding the medical report from another GP in 2011 which the GP surgery has no record and I have the date that ATOS said it was done.

ATOS do not keep any physical documents on any claimant so if anybody has it, it will be the DWP. You can make the request but they have a data retention policy of 14 months so it may well have been destroyed.

Hi, to update:
Have been informed that due to insufficient data received by ATOS, I am still been called for examination as the information in there is old, even though it is still affecting me all the time.
A more recent date has to be put there apparently, even though the condition is old.
I will be seeing the doctor tomorrow morning, can I do an ESA 113 form as a example for him to complete one for me?
Any advice on what to tell him would be appreciated.

Hi a little update:
Seen GP and obtained copy of esa113.
Saw it was filled in by doctor I have seen once in the last year and very short with not much expansion of info.
Asked the one I usually see whether a more detailed report could be written - said 'no' as there are many requests for this and they cannot do it, so the esa113 will have to do.
Needless to say I am now feeling worse than ever before..
He also said I should go to medical assessment and explain to them my conditions.
Also said I should be able to go as I am able to go to see him, which I thought is just not true as seeing him, a familiar person, is different from seeing a stranger.
But he recognized my condition (anxious and palpitations) up my antidepressant dosage!
anyone met the same situation as me?
what should I do now as if using what was written would definitely not pass..

Hi Mods, pls help.
I do see an acupuncturist who has been treating me since 2002, not weekly (would be beyond my financial ability) but who has helped me with my asthma tremendously to such an extent that my chest is quite clear..
Would it help if I ask her for a detailed report?
also if she writes, should she write the conditions in her way, ie, all illnesses are defined as imbalance of qi of an organ..
would this type of report be understood by the decision makers?
