Zero points for my friend.

Thank you for your positive reply. I'm so glad you agree. This is a massive and often not talked about topic.

The DWP are supposed to audit the assessment provider(s). And in turn the AP's must surely carry out internal audits to lessen the chances of getting caught out and made to look incompetent.

So is the 'zero points trick ' as widespread as it seems to be?

I can't get my head around it. It's obviously a clear cut case of cutting corners to make the job much easier. How long does it take to copy and paste one statement throught and then to type zero points into the boxes?

So, because it's so obvious that the assessor hasn't done their job properly; that awarding zero points throughout cannot possibly be a true reflection on anyones ability to carry out a task whether they are disabled or not - the whole thing collapses in on itself.

I have known plenty of people in my lifetime who can only use a microwave for ready meals due to lack of motivation.

Two points, please.

Hi Gary,

There was a Channel Four Dispatches programme about a PIP assessor who bragged about failing claimants.

He even told the undercover reporter that he'd already filled out his paperwork online before he'd even seen a client.

I'm not sure if we're both talking about the same person or programme but it gives a good insight into the dirty deeds they get up to.
