The HP actually wrote “ Previous PA4 indicates that she needs prompting with this activity” if it had been added erroneous as you suggested, how could she possibly comment on a f2f that doesn’t exist? Or have they made up one?

My guess is that they have written up all of their reports for the day at one time and they have started to confuse information from one claim to another.

Thanks Gordon, oh great and that’s what is being presented to a decision maker at the DWP. I already had a complaint against IAS, today I called and logged a new on with this assessor, she asked what descriptors I was complaining about and why, gave her the reasons then mentioned the PA4 thing, she immediately said “oh that’s obviously been a typo!” Yeah that makes it ok! I understand humans make mistakes, however, they are dealing with people’s life’s, least they could do is proof read it......if it was a genuine mistake? The complaints manager then asked if I wanted both complaints rolled into one? Excuse me? No, it’s two separate complaints and should be treated so. I thought that was some kind of a joke! Allbeit she took my complaint over the phone, this wrong report has already made it to the dwp. So it’s going to be MR and it wouldn’t surprise me if they delay the complaint response til the MR is already submitted, so none of that info can be included.

Hi Gordon,

I had already received a txt from the DWP on the 01/05/2019 saying that they have all the information to make decision on PIP. As a guide you should hear from us in 6 weeks.

I received a letter from them today in the post, stating the exact same thing, the date on the letter was the 14/05/2019.

Is this letter just a back up of their txt message? Seems a rather long delay in sending a letter, or should I be concerned it’s being delayed?

Strictly speaking, the text is a backup to the letter.

Don't read anything into the delay in sending the letter, I believe the text is automatically sent when the report is logged into the DWP system, the letter has to be requested by a person.

I don't have a current feeling for Decision wait times but they were up at ten weeks in April.

Hi Gordon,
Sorry to pester you again but your help is so appreciated.

There is something fishy going on... txt received from DWP on 01/05/2019 saying thank you we have all we need to make a decision.

Received letter today saying I had been awarded 11 points for DL and 10 for mobility.
Which is what I thought given the HP report I requested, however it is wrong and I will be requesting a MR.

The date on the letter is the 14/05/2019. This is the date my second complaint to IAS where the case worker said she would email the DWP. I am still waiting on the reply from the 1st complaint against IAS.

Can I ask for a extension given the fact the date on their letter is the 14/05/2019 and it is now the 22/05/2019, while I am still waiting on two responses from IAS? They state 20 working days for a response.
