No, the only way for them to look at the Decision again is via an MR.

Okay, expected that answer. When they do an MR, does the 'new' DM see what the first DM has written/awarded. I mean the medical assessor awarded two years with the DM changlng it to three years (prob by mistake lol). Just wondering whether if the second DM does not see the first DM's Decision to lengthen the Award , then with an MR, the second DM might well just follow the medical assessor recommendation and then my Award will reduce to the medical assessor's two years.
So will the second DM see the first DM's Award Length?

The new DM should see everything that is available to date with regard to the claim, so your letters and the previous DMs Decision.

Just spoke to another DM, is it possible as they implied that I cannot have 4 points for preparing food if I don't have assistance or could not cope with the assistance if it were put in place?

A DM I spoke to today asked whether I had assistance for preparing food , whether someone assisted already, and if not, whether I could cope with someone assisting. The implication was that if not, this would stop the 4 points. Can they not give you the 4 points if they think your claim reflects that you could not cope with assistance? Surely not?

The legal requirement is that you need the assistance not that you actually receive it.

Have you said that you could not cope with having any assistance?
